Going Away, Coming Home

Last Sunday, we could not wait to go away for a few days! Fred had a few days off and we rented a cabin in Brown County (Nashville, Indiana). We frantically threw things in a suitcase and took off! We just couldn't get there fast enough.
Three days later, on Wednesday, we couldn't wait to get home!
Sometimes, it takes going away to see how good you really have it at home! This time, coming home was different than it had been in the past. We really wanted to come home. I had an overwhelming peace about where I live, how I live and who I am.
And, I am thankful for all of it.

How fun! Little vacations are so nice- they give us time to really relax but also let us appreciate home. And I'm sorry to hear about the miscarriage sweetie...I hope you find some comfort soon. And I hear ya about the blood thing- I have to get at least 2 things every week! You and Fred are in my thoughts and prayers. :)
